Important notes on transportation and operation
To ensure that your project runs smoothly, there are a few things to consider. Dry ice blasting machines require a powerful compressor to supply compressed air. We also rent these out and will be happy to advise you on which of our rental compressors is best suited. Please do not underestimate the weight and size of the equipment – a dry ice blasting unit weighs between 80 and 100 kg, which is why a van is recommended for collection from our CO2 filling station in Hamburg-Stellingen. In addition, the compressor comes as a trailer with a weight of between 1.9 and 2 tons. Secure the dry ice blasting unit, the compressor and any accessories in accordance with the German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) so that nothing can slip. And finally: Remember to order enough dry ice for your project. If you are unsure about the required quantity, our team will be happy to help.
